GarageBand 101
GarageBand 101 is an introduction to GarageBand - the free recording software that comes with Apple products. In these one-on-one lessons, students will develop skills in the following areas:
Creating musical ideas
Listening and analysis
Song construction
Creating loops
Software instruments & MIDI
Recording real instruments
Sampling
Basic mixing
Laptop or ipad required. Our initial consultation with the student will help inform the specific direction of the lessons and how much time is spent on the above items. Pricing: $120 per month (weekly 30 minute sessions). $50 registration fee applied to first month.
