Logic Pro 101
Logic Pro 101 moves beyond GarageBand to a more in-depth study of recording and sound design. In these one-on-one lessons, students will develop skills in the following areas:
Introduction to Logic Pro software
Intro to synthesizers
Using virtual instruments
Miking techniques
Mixing in Logic Pro
Dynamics (compression & limiting)
Creating arrangements
MIDI sequencing in Logic Pro
Analyzing the Logic virtual mixer
Creating a virtual studio
Student must have a laptop with a version of Logic Pro installed. Our initial consultation with the student will help inform the specific direction of the lessons and how much time is spent on the above items. Pricing: $180 per month (weekly 60 minute sessions). $50 registration fee applied to first month.
